A local non-profit whose goal is to create safe spaces for LGBT youth in Minnesota. They also have programs that address youth homelessness.
LGBT youth can come to one of District 202’s many monthly social events and participate in a variety of programs, often administered by youth. These events and programs offer community and can provide youth with a wide range of valuable skills and tools they need to be as successful as they desire as they move forward in life. Each month, look for 2-3 programs that focus on a variety of skills and service; such as, Creative Expression, Social Justice, Life Skills, Health and Wellness and Social Interaction.
In addition, 1-2 community events will be hosted by District 202 around the Twin Cities and you can find even more events on our community calendar located on our home page.

Local non-profits are pulling in heavy weight. It's great to see LGBT taking action to an issue prominent to their culture and lifestyle.
