When I was on SAC, we had a strict "no funding for course materials" protocol, unless it somehow bettered the entire MCAD community directly. So, if you have some aim or goal that could transparently be great for MCAD, you could go to them for funding.
The personal $50 stipends are pretty much strictly for travel though.
I have concur with Dylan. I now fill his old role and we are pretty strict.
What he said about it benefiting MCAD and its students is something that I and I'm sure megan would be willing to figure out with you. It is a good cause.
The west is sunny. I was forced to buy propah sunglasses, which means I'm merely months away from getting my teeth bleached and having a wicked orange tan.
Annie- These gentlemen are correct, SAC doesn't fund projects that are for classes and/or will receive a grade. HOWEVER I would definitely be willing to figure something else out with you. Come stop by my office or send me a note about what you are planning/thinking. megan
