Here is a glimpse at our flag distribution today!

  1. Man, people love flags!
Why do you think that is?

  2. May be because it's patriotic or people like the association that flags bring. It's like being part of something bigger, something better. I feel, in may ways, that's why Facebook, Secondlife and other forms of social networking are vital to people today. They are like modern day flags.

  3. Civic religion / pride.

I'm so glad these went out to people at the Twins game. Perfect moment to be pushing out something like this with such a unifying moment for the Twin Cities.

  4. I like 'em when they're a extension of where you come from. When a flag is used to make a mark of where one's been (on a map, on a mountain, on the moon), it's expanding the boundary of your known space.

Can anyone think of an example of "planting a flag" in social media?

  5. Now that is a great question Zak. I want the flag planted in Second Life

  6. Or should I say Zach-sorry. I also like the idea of the reversed flag that has two flags printed one on each side of the single flag. I would like to have reversed flag underpants made. It's kinda strange I know, but I feel it would be interesting for people to stand behind their flag by wearing underwear. Would it mean the flag on the outside or inside is your identity?

  7. Vince made the point yesterday that this flag is unique. Flags are the same design placed on both sides. They unite people under one cause-under one belief. This flag has different sides and unites two different groups. This is the first and only. As the light catches the designs it creates the third flag.
