In order to nail down some ideas that everybody can agree with I think it would be a good idea for everybody to post
1. three or so overarching ideas that they gathered from the project
2. suggestions for how to write it
For example:
1. making communities aware of each other, crossing community boundaries, proactive involvement outside the MCAD bubble.
2. maybe everybody could write their own mission statement/manifesto, and we could combine them/edit them in to one next class period
Thanks guys! I think it would be helpful to get a few of these ideas down.

US+THEM mission statement and goals
I haven't gotten any response in regards to the rough draft of the US+THEM mission statement, aside from Bernard's comment. At this point this will be the final statement for US+THEM:
US +THEM
This statement represents an awareness of individualism, and the relationship between individuals and all communities. It is a positive discourse that celebrates discussion, and discovery of all cultures within communities.
Goals:
1. Positive discussion.
2. Positive realization.
3. Positive celebration.

MN (heart) TYPE

Hey ya'll -
not sure what ya'll think about this, but I was interested in this idea of a typeface that is "Minnesotan" or a typeface that could be associated with the midwest. I have a small list that I feel that may work (I will post them when I get outta work here), but hoping that maybe the class offer up some ideas on this. It would be really badass if we made our own, the research could also be really fun!
Anyone?
Hi Everyone,
Bern had mentioned the other day about trying to find existing flags... I did a little looking around and I think this is something we'd have to talk to the city clerk about. I'm thinking of heading down there some time this week before class, asking a few questions, and seeing if we can get our hands on any flags. If anyone else is interested & wants to come along it would be great, let me know!
